TOURIST VISA
Austrian, Slovenian and Slovakian citizens do not require a tourist visa for Argentina for a term of up to 3 months. This term is renewable in Argentina (once only) at the Argentinean Migration Authority (Dirección Nacional de Migraciones) for the same amount of time, prior to the expiration date of the original 3 months. Bearers of an Austrian, Slovenian or Slovakian passport may thus stay in Argentina for a period of up to 6 months for tourism purposes, without applying for a visa.
Passport holders of other countries for which a visa for tourist purposes is needed, shall refer to the requirements mentioned below:

The period of stay constitutes the period, within which residence in Argentina is approved. It is calculated in calendar days and also comprises those days, which are spent outside of Argentina, for example on a journey. Also in cases of multiple entry visas the number of days will be counted in the following way: The period starts with the day of the first entry into Argentina and ends with the day of the last exit. This period must not exceed the number of days authorized.
