ACADEMIC VISA

It applies to foreigners who enter the country temporarily and on the basis of academic agreements concluded between higher education institutions in specific fields. The permitted duration of stay is up to 3 months.

1) Passport (valid for at least 6 months beyond the planned duration of stay and at least 2 pages in blank)

2) 1 passport photo

3) Completed visa application form (available online)

4) Registration form

5) Invitation via the TAD system (from the institution to be visited)

6) RENURE number (from the institution to be visited)

7) Confirmation from the company that you need to travel to Argentina.

9) Hotel reservation IN SPANISH

10) Existence and validity of the inter-institutional agreement (“Agreement between the two institutions”).

11) Health insurance IN SPANISH

12) The last three payslips

Remarks

Validity of the visa:

This is the period within which the first entry to Argentina must take place. After the specified validity period has expired, it is no longer possible to enter Argentina for the first time.

Period of stay:

This is the agreed period within which a stay in Argentina is possible. It is calculated in calendar days and also includes those days spent outside Argentina, for example in the course of a trip. Similarly, in the case of visas with the possibility of multiple entries to Argentina, the trip is made up as follows: The period is calculated from the day of the first entry to Argentina to the day of the last exit. This period may not exceed the agreed number of days.
