SEASONAL VISA
Applies to persons entering the country to carry out work that is seasonal by nature and is only carried out for part of the year, with a stay of up to 3 months.
1. VISA REQUIREMENTS AND NECESSARY DOCUMENTS:
The visa can be applied for at this consulate as soon as the PIM (Entry Permit*) is sent to us by the Argentine Immigration Department and the person is assigned to this consulate.
- 1) Passport (valid for at least 6 months beyond the planned duration of stay and at least 2 pages in blank)
- 2) 1 passport photo
- 3) Completed visa application form (available online)
- 4) Adress registration form (in Austria Meldezettel)
- 5) (*) Entry permit (Permiso de Ingreso Migratorio) issued by the immigration authority (Dirección Nacional de Migraciones). The exchange organization/institution/university must first apply for an entry permit (PIM) from the relevant Argentine immigration authority (DNM), and the relevant consulate will be informed when this is issued.

Remarks
Validity of the visa:
This is the period within which the first entry to Argentina must take place. After the specified validity period has expired, it is no longer possible to enter Argentina for the first time.
Period of stay:
This is the agreed period within which a stay in Argentina is possible. It is calculated in calendar days and also includes those days spent outside Argentina, for example in the course of a trip. Similarly, in the case of visas with the possibility of multiple entries to Argentina, the trip is made up as follows: The period is calculated from the day of the first entry to Argentina to the day of the last departure. This period may not exceed the agreed number of days.
